Hi.....well ,here we are four years down the line , and 'A Time of Ghosts and Rain'
is finally up and running .It's released thro' ' Emubands ',same as 'Nine Dreams Passing' ,
so will be trying to work out how to operate this site all over again .Needless to say ,they've
changed it all around just to confuse me......doesn't take much !
There are nine new songs recorded at ' HATS OFF' OXFORD , & 'BAKERMOON' BERLIN .
Engineered and co/produced by Ed Bentley and Mickie Taylor . On keyboards Ros Buck ,on
drums Alex Collett ( track5 Gary Marshall ) , on bass Geoff 'Fingers ' Collett (tracks6&7 Ed Bentley)
(tracks5&8 Mickie Taylor ) . Thank you all for sticking with it .....never a cross word...!
I will be thinking towards my third ( and final ) album in due course ,but for now I'm backing
off just a little bit so I don't go completely off the rails.....some say I'm already there ....thanks !
Well ....it's been a while ....but I finally finished my third project which should go out in May
2023 . Eleven new tracks recorded at TAD STUDIOS with the help of Umair Chaudhry at the
desk . Titled ' INTO the ROOKY WOOD ' I hope it's the best thing I've done to date , tho' that's
going to be a matter of opinion . I've kept to my Syd Barrett inclinations , with lots of effects
and weird goings on but keeping a balance so that the tunes don't get lost in the mix .
My co producer Umair has proved invaluable , both as an ' ideas man' and in his capacity
as engineer . Add to that his abilities on bass and drums and you'll hear what he can do .
He tells me he's been collaborating with Dave Barbarossa of ' Adam & the Ants ' fame , so
that should be an interesting listen when it comes out later in the year .
I've started on the next project and have a working title of ' FLINT & BONE ' altho' this
may well change . At this stage of my ' career ' , it's hard to know if I'll ever finish it , but
life is pretty dull without music , don't you agree ?
I'll load up some more photos as there are a lot of good ones that went begging for this
album just because there wasn't room . Ros continues to develop as both an artist and a
photographer and 'ROOKY' is her best work yet I reckon . See what you think !
